The Challenge
A global manufacturer of food processing machinery developed a new rice milling machine that keeps the healthy germ part of the rice. When this company established a new plant in China to meet the needs of local customers, they encountered two problems: (1) Dust, a constant issue at rice milling sites, which caused the current solenoid valve to fail and (2) Leaky fittings and tubing, which increased the cost of production.

The Solution
Parker Hannifin provided the manufacturer with PHV solenoid valve and Legris LF3000 Series fittings. The PHV solenoid valves offer good anti-fouling properties, which reduced maintenance cost. And with Legris LF3000 Series Fittings, air leakage is no longer a problem.
