The Solution
The unique concept of a single processor system for PLC and drive control of the dosing auger permits a very process-oriented control. The reduced information flow and modern, overshoot free closed loop control technology combined with very low intertia motors allows increased dosing accuracy and reduced spread. Even when equipped with resolver feedback, this Parker solution typically outperforms more expensive Sin-Cos feedback systems. At the same time, the performance of the dosing unit is improved thanks to the shorter signal propagation delay – especially in fully-automated systems running at high cycle times.
