Our Highest Priority

Our Highest Priority is the Safety of our Team Members, their Families and our Communities

Among all of us at Parker there is a shared understanding that nothing is more important than protecting the health and safety our team members, our families and our communities.

Our Highest Priority is the Safety of our Team Members, their Families and our Communities

A principle we have adopted early in the current crisis is that our team members should feel safest while at home or at a Parker location.

Parker operates in 50 countries globally and is deemed as an essential business, so in most instances we continue to operate to address the ongoing needs of our customers by providing critical products to critical industries.

In most cases where it is possible, team members are working remotely. For those team members who must come to their work location, we have taken early and aggressive action to help prevent the spread of the virus and provide for a safe and productive work environment, including:

  • Adhering to directives from government and health authorities in every country
  • The deployment of enhanced hygiene and disinfection protocols
  • Maintaining a physical distance of at least 6 feet (2 meters)
  • Banning large in-person meetings, no in-person "run the business" meetings
  • Travel and visitor restrictions
  • The use of masks and face coverings
  • Staggering shifts and rearranging work spaces to accommodate social distancing

Following the principles embedded in our Safety 360 programs, while at home, we are encouraging team members and those around them to continue to follow hygiene best practices that we have promoted globally, including frequent handwashing and maintaining a physical distance of at least 6 feet from others.

Across countless critical applications, Parker technologies are helping with the front-line effort to combat the spread and support the treatment of COVID-19. In this latest period of great need, the actions of our remarkable team members have been a been a direct reflection of the Parker culture and the values that unite us.
