Valve Adaptor Plate Helps Smooth Cheese Factory Processes

The Challenge
This customer had more than 1,000 stainless steel inline process piping valves throughout its facility. The controller had a custom integrated three-way pneumatic pilot valve that kept failing. Because the valve was obsolete, each failure meant the company had to buy a new $700 control unit.

The Solution
A Parker distributor designed an adaptor plate small enough to fit into the valve head, letting the plant replace the three-way pilot with a custom Parker pneumatic valve.
