Why are you passionate about this business?
I have worked for IPDE for over 30 years in a variety of roles. Throughout my time there have been many challenges to overcome. However, I have always been excited by these challenges and gained a great deal of energy and enthusiasm with the resultant successes. Parker has enabled me to expand my knowlege and experience further than I could ever have imagined.

Why are you passionate about this business?
I feel we have an amazing product range which is supported by a staff which is passionate about what they produce, dedicated to supplying customers with the right solutions to their challenges and knowledgeable about the areas and sectors they support. I sometimes think we are the best kept secret in Instrumentation.

I once sang live in a band in San Francisco when the lead singer had a sore throat (for three songs)!

Why are you passionate about this business?
I am always facinated to learn about our customers business and find where our Parker products can fit the aplications. One thing which is very helpful is a plant tour where we can engage with our hosts and understand where our products can help. I always learn something new everytime I discuss the Parker range with customers and distributors.

I started working as an apprentice at 16 years old which looking at when young people start work now seems crazy!

Why are you passionate about this business?

Why are you passionate about this business?
I am grateful to be the product manager for the flanged products. The applications can vary and we are against different competition (one who I worked for) than the fittings manufacturers. This gives Parker people worldwide the opportuniy to see different disciplines and talk about interesting opportunities.

I started off at 16 to be a vehicle fitter in a factory with 3000 employees. Never heard of instrumentation or process control until 1982, who would think I would be still involved today?

I think it's about variety. The business is like a cake of differing layers and textures. Even after 43 years, I realise that overall I know so much yet know so little. It's good still to learn and to consider ever new solutions to customer needs.

I made bad decisions when I was young but looking back now, I no longer regret them and realise that life is in the end, what you make it.

I have 2 sons and now 2 grandchildren. They are fantastic, I never tire of spending time with them and I am enjoying helping my son and daughter in law to navigate the ups and downs in order give those kids the right start in life, from the same love, respect and support I got from my parents.

I enjoy the challenges of the business, both analytically and the diversity of the applications. Having been a former customer, I have a unique insight to the processing challenges and application requirements our customers experience. As an analytical chemist, understanding the importance of sample system operation and how it impacts analyzer performance, motivates me to provide the best solution to meet the customer’s needs.

Why are you passionate about this business?
I am amazed in the variety of markets and applications where process control products are used. My previous experiences in Manufacturing Engineering taught me to be inquisitive on how products are made and develop new methods to make those products. I enjoy applying past experiences to solve customer problems in a variety of industries using Parker products. I wake up every morning wondering what new (and sometimes crazy) application will come my way at Parker.

In elementary school, I always received top scores in “Show and Tell “ all through 4th – 6th grades. This trait has proven helpful in “ hands on “ type product training.

I love working on specifications & projects with End Users & EPCs. I am amazed what impact a project win can have on our business. I thrive on finding commercial and technical solutions for project wins. What truly makes me happy is the interaction with customers. I love building long-term relationships.

My 1st job (at 23 years old) was to start a business unit in India for a French company. I managed that project from the market survey, to the company set up and I finally run the company. We achieved break-even after only a year. It is today a successful business employing 30 people. I also lived in Spain, India, Japan, Ireland & in the UK.

Although I work many hours & I am often away on business, my family and friends are the most important to me. So I try to live every minute to the full.

Why are you passionate about this business?
When I looked into joining Parker I was looking for a company and product line I could belive in and I haven't been dissapointed. The team within the Instrumentation Divison and wider Parker group are always looking for ways to support our customers and I am proud to be part of this team. I enjoy building business relationships and working with our End Users, EPC and subcontract customers to learn about their business challanges and how the Parker product range can solve those current and future needs.
