Faster Installation, Better Integration Through Poultry Valve Communication

The Challenge
In designing a poultry processing system, an OEM needed an easy-to-integrate, eight-valve system. Each machine in the processing system had multiple banks of these eight valves and needed to be linked together via a bus network.

The Solution
Along with fittings and tubing, our bundled Moduflex Series valve solution offered numerous advantages:

Moduflex Valve System
Provides stand-alone valves, short-build valve islands or large valve island configurations. Gives machine builders maximum flexibility for automation system design using basic modules. Peripheral stand-alone or integrated modules for added functions.

Polyethylene Tubing
FDA, NSF Standard 51, 61 and ASTM D-1963 compliant. Series EA formulated to resist degradation from mildew, algae, fungi and biofilm in filling and processing applications.

PFA, PTFE and FEP Tubing
For extreme high and low temperature applications. UV resistant by nature. Compatible with virtually any media. Corrosion and chemical resistant; low level of extractables for highly sensitive contaminant applications.

Polypropylene Tubing
Meets FDA, NSF Standard 51 for all food contact. Exhibits excellent chemical resistance to chlorinated water applications. Can also be used where UV light stabilization is required.

Stainless Steel Fittings
For more aggressive beverage packaging applications. Includes O-ring face seal, 37° flare, flareless bite type and metric bite type tube fittings.

Nickel-plated Brass Fittings
Compact push-to-connect fittings are specially designed for low-pressure circuits where fast assembly, disassembly and reassembly are important. FDA-compliant; chemical-resistant.

Stainless Steel Flow Controls and Function Fittings
Stainless flow controls are used to regulate the speed of a cylinder rod as well as gas flow in environments with high mechanical or chemical constraints. Compact, flexible and reliable function fittings enhance the efficiency and security of your pneumatic installations.

Composite Fittings
Compact and lightweight. Excellent for air, inert gases and vacuum applications found in food and beverage packaging.
