Our Engineering Edge
Computational Fluid Dynamics. Parker partners with customers early in the development process using advanced simulation and modeling to optimize designs, even before prototype testing. System and component performance is improved by detailed three-dimensional analysis of mechanical, thermal, aerodynamic and hydrodynamic performance using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Stress (FE) Analysis Software. These tools address a broad range of applications providing enhanced performance with reduced development time and cost.

Finite Element Analysis. Predicting material performance during usage can be a challenging early validation process. Applying nonlinear Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to fully characterize elastomers and thermoplastics, Parker has helped customers improve the speed and quality of product design by delivering accurate visualizations of application performance reducing the overall costs of program development.

New Polymer Innovation Center
Located in the strategic heart of Ohio’s Polymer Valley, the Center will pilot and prototype new materials, products, and processes with a focus on medical polymers through collaboration with the University of Akron and the Cleveland Clinic. The research and development facility includes a clean room, support lab, processing area, five-story PTFE paste tower for medical tubing development, offices, and conference space. It has been created to complement our customers' product design, development, testing, and manufacturing capabilities by offering diverse resources and deep experience in ground-breaking polymer technology.
