The XRF Analyser offers the ability to spot check the Sulphur content of fuel oil onboard a ship. Agency Approvals

Parker will carry the most common international agency approvals as requested by our customers. IECEx, ABS, ATEX, and Lloyd's are comprehensive approvals, while other certifications are specific to designated products. Please also review our Environmental Policy and our Health & Safety Policy.

The ATEX directive consists of two EU directives describing what equipment and work space is allowed in an environment with an explosive atmosphere.
MarED is the co-ordination group for the Notified Bodies that carries out the conformity assessment procedures referred to in the Marine Equipment Directive 2014/90/EU OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 23 July 2014 (MED) on marine equipment and repealing Council Directive 96/98/EC.
A ship classification society which establishes standards for the design, construction, and periodic survey of vessels. ABS classifies ships, which helps to ensure that they are fit for their intended service, and possess the structural and mechanical capability for safe performance.
The American Bureau of Shipping (ABS)
A Norwegian Ship classification society which establishes rules and guidelines for the classification of ships, mobile offshore platforms, and other floating marine structures. DNV also issues rules and standards for the classification, certification, and verification of fixed offshore structures.
