Used Oil Analysis | Cylinder Oil Monitoring

Looking after your oil is an essential part of any machinery maintenance. The lubricating oil is often the only thing separating the metal surfaces of your engine, journal, hoists or compressors, and so without it they could not function effectively. Oil analysis should therefore be a priority to any maintenance staff or engineer in order to ensure that all machinery is able to run as smoothly as possible. Advanced oil analysis equipment solutions are also incredibly valuable for ensuring the continued health of heavy machinery. Not only will this improve machinery efficiency, but it also serves to reduce downtime. This can have a dramatic effect on output and costs, especially when combined with wear debris analysis and other condition monitoring methods. Bunker Fuel Testing | Fuel Condition Monitoring

Marine fuel deliveries are measured by volume but paid for by mass. Ensuring the fuel quality at the time of delivery and calculating the density is an integral part of good bunkering practices. Parker's condition monitoring solutions help companies measure density and water content to calculate the mass of fuel delivered. Our on-site fuel labs can help ensure fuel is within the required specification under ISO 8217, Viscosity, Density, Water, CCAI, Compatibility, Pour Point, Salt. They can also help maintain bunker fuel samples for Port State Inspection under MARPOL 73/78 Annex VI.

The ability to spot check the Sulphur content of fuel on-board (to lab standards) within three minutes will help vessel operators, bunker suppliers, port authorities and regulatory surveyors ensure compliance with the latest IMO MARPOL fuel regulations.
