OTSEGO, MI., August 16, 2017 – Parker Hannifin Corporation (NYSE: PH) (“Parker”) today announced that its Fluid Systems Connectors Division had received the Business Excellence Award from the Water Quality Association (WQA), the leading voice of the water treatment industry. WQA’s Business Excellence program singles out WQA members who make a special commitment to business excellence, the values of WQA and advancing the betterment of water quality.

To earn this distinction, Parker had to:

• Be a WQA member in good standing
• Sell one or more WQA certified products
• Have at least one certified professional on staff

“We are honored to be recognized by WQA for our commitment to business excellence,” said Sterling McNeill, Product Sales Manager of Parker’s Fluid System Connectors division. “Water quality is becoming increasingly important throughout the world. As one of only a handful of companies to have achieved this distinction, we believe it offers customers the reassurance of knowing we have met the highest water quality standards, both in our expertise and our products.”

With a comprehensive line of fittings, valves and tubing, Parker offers customers in the water and beverage industries proven leak-free innovation in smaller footprints with faster assembly. The company’s solutions are designed to boost customer productivity and profitability while offering specific performance expectations in filtration, purification, processing, dispensing bottling, treatment and hydroponic applications.
